Support Group Meetings

Survivors of a traumatic and non-traumatic brain injury (TBI & ABI) and their Caregivers/family members are invited and encouraged to attend our support group meetings. We also welcome others that serve, support, and/or want to help the brain injury community.

At our monthly meetings, we strive to provide speakers and programs that benefit our members, survivors, and their families. This is a time to share experiences, resources, and encouragement and connect with a supportive group. Please let us know if you’re seeking personal support or guidance. We exist to serve you and your community.

In-Person Evening Support Groups — Survivors & Caregivers — We meet on 4th Wednesdays monthly, with the exceptions of November (3rd Wed) and December (1st Wed).

In-Person Learning and Living with Brain Injury –Survivor and Caregivers who have recently been diagnosed with a brain injury and want to learn more about how Alamo Head Injury can support them. We meet on 3rd Thursdays monthly at PAM Health Northeast Located at 11407 Wayland Way. San Antonio, TX. No registration necessary.

Virtual Caregiver Support Group meets on virtually on the 3rd Tuesdays monthly, with the exception of November (no meeting this month).

In-Person Support Groups

Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 @ 6:00 PM

Join us for our monthly In Person Support Group Wednesday, March 25th. You won’t want to miss it! We’d love to have you join us! There will be time to chat, eat, and learn. Caregivers also have the option to join in a separate support group just for them.

Located at Pam Warm Springs – 5101 Medical Dr. in the ConnectAbility Meeting Room 132 on the first floor.

A yummy meal will be provided.

Virtual Caregiver Support Group
Tuesday, March 17th, 2026 @ 6:30pm

This support group is exclusively for Caregivers. If you care for a loved one with an acquired brain injury, you are invited to join this virtual meeting on Teams. When you register to attend, an email with the Teams link will be sent to you.

Learning and Living with Brain Injury Support Meeting Thursday, March 19th, 2026

This group will normally meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

This group meets to learn more about support for survivors and caregivers who have recently been diagnosed with a brain injury. Any survivor is encouraged to join and share their journey.

From 11am to 12pm
At this time, lunch is not provided, but you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the cafe on your own.
Registration is not required.
